About Lumos
Light should follow you, not blind you.
We began with one question: why is the light in our homes the same at 7 am and at midnight?
Since 2016
A small company with a long list of lights.
Lumos was started by an engineer and an interior designer in a garage in Austin. We design every lamp ourselves, write every line of the firmware and keep it running for as long as you own the lamp. Our lights work offline, forever, with no account and no subscription.
- Works offline, no account needed
- Firmware updates for ten years
- Repairable, with spare parts on sale
What we believe
Three rules.
Follow the day
Cooler and brighter in the morning, warmer and dimmer by night.
Offline first
Everything works without the internet and without a company account.
Built to last
Replaceable parts, ten years of updates and a repair manual online.
